Can't take it! My apartment is STILL a wreck, but at least my classroom looks nice. Just don't look in the desk. I think my water bill will late. It's due tomorrow. I wonder what happened to my electric bill.....
So, I've had quite a week. My first day of school was exactly one week ago. One week ago right now, I was on the phone with one my student's parents. Yeah. A parent. The first day of school. At home. On the phone line I never gave out for general use. Wild. She was worried about her son because he's getting teased on the bus. Like I control the bus! I guess she's just concerned about her kid, but c'mon!
Anyway, I was really worried about my first day. Older kids...new material...new place...I nearly threw up the night before. I got an email from a classmate in my program who actually DID throw up, so I don't feel so bad. I think I did an OK job. My kids seem to like me.
I'm tired.
